Wiz has had a very mixed start to her young life. She has worked cutting sheep into pens for shearing and also rounding up sheep for loading trucks. She excelled at this and loves having a job but unfortunately her owner passed away and she was surrendered to happy paws as a young mum with her puppies. She was then adopted and, we believe bounced around a few homes before ending up back with us.
She is very people focused and calm when around them, walks well on lead, and enjoys treats. She gets on with cats and dogs BUT she does need to have something to occupy her mind and keep her busy during the day. She would love to work in some capacity and while she is quite petite in stature she has great endurance and (when she sheds a little bit of weight) athleticism. If bored she will find her own fun and at Happy Paws that looks like a bucket fetish where she will toss the metal water buckets around the yard. This behaviour doesn't happen when she has appropriate mental stimulation but for that reason even though she would be a wonderful family dog she is not suitable to spend her days in a backyard or without something to do. Conversely in the right environment you will not find a better, more loyal and intelligent dog.
