About Dozer
Dozer is a Dane/Wolfhound cross, He needs a strong person as he is a strong boy, some more training, socialisation and plenty of space to play. He would be a great dog for an equally gangly teenager who could take him to classes to learn leadership and obedience a win-win for all. Dozer was surrendered at Happy Paws Haven by his original owner in May 2012, at 8 months old. He is such a sook that other dogs often pick on him. His favourite game is Tug with a long rope! He has had a little training, he knows his name, come, sit and to walk on a lead. Dozer has slept both inside and outside with the other dogs. He loves his shell pool, after getting back from a walk he goes straight to his little pool and lays down in it and relaxes. He enjoys playing with ropes and balls. Dozer also loves to play with his extra tough kong toy. Dozer is extremely gentle when taking treats from your hands. He will sit very patiently while being groomed. He loves being with people. He is actually a bit weary of men. He would be better in a home as an only dog.
