Regie is a very people friendly boy who loves attention and has the dingo curiosity about everything in his environment.
Being a dingo, he has some special requirements regarding fencing and understanding of his species (see below).
Regie is friendly with other dogs and walks well on the lead (will require a harness). He is easy going in nature and has been handled since a young puppy and is very curious about everything to do with people.
He loves to get out for walks and like all our dingoes has such joy in the scents and sounds of the bush tracks, tasting grasses and bushes, chasing butterflies and picking up interesting scents in the air.
If you’re up for exploring the wonder of the world through a dingo’s senses, Regie will bring a lot of joy and possibly convert you to the dingo world forever!
While considering a dingo please assess your current and future lifestyle bearing in mind that adopting a dingo is a significant, lifelong commitment requiring legal permits in some States and banned in others, except NSW and WA. A secure, large enclosure, and a specific diet, as dingoes are wild animals with strong instincts, requiring knowledgeable owners to ensure safety due to their independence, and high prey drive. They need supervision, extensive exercise, and a very calm environment, making them unsuitable for households with young children or small pets, and they are incredibly difficult to re-home due to the strong bonds they form.
Please call Sally on 0419 404 766 to discuss Regie rather than messaging or emailing.
