This ridiculously handsome boy is Jengo who has the personality to match his supermodel looks.
Jengo is a dingo and has some special requirements for his adoptive home (see below). He was sprung from the Tenterfield Pound where he was surrendered due to having too many dogs.
Jengo is a very people oriented and social boy who has a very lovely laid back nature and is calm around other dogs and in almost every situation we've seen him in!
He walks well on lead, loves attention and getting out for walks and adventures. At the same time he will often be found relaxing in the shade chilling out during his down time.
Jengo's only fault we've observed at this stage is he can get a bit mouthy when there are treats being handed out in the yard. Its not hard mouthy but also not our preferred way for him to communicate his needs and we're working on this. On his own he takes treats very gently so its definitely an excitable/anticipation behaviour.
We can't say enough good things about this boy and he will make someone a very very good wingman and companion for life. If you are up for a dingo life come and meet him and see what all the fuss is about.
***While considering a dingo please assess your current and future lifestyle bearing in mind that adopting a dingo is a significant, lifelong commitment requiring legal permits in some States and banned in others, except NSW and WA. A secure, large enclosure, and a specific diet, as dingoes are wild animals with strong instincts, requiring knowledgeable owners to ensure safety due to their independence, and high prey drive. They need supervision, extensive exercise, and a very calm environment, making them unsuitable for households with young children or small pets, and they are incredibly difficult to re-home due to the strong bonds they form.
Please call Sally to discuss Jengo rather than messaging or emailing.
