Narlee came to us as her owner had taken her in due to a friend becoming homeless. Narlee is naturally submissive to other dogs and the owners dog kept picking on her and making her life miserable. Narlee has a very gentle nature and while she gets on with dogs that don't push her around she does love the company of humans. She was adopted earlier this year. the owner was working part time as were the other family members. She developed some separation anxiety during this last home and would escape to follow her owner or her partner as she did not want to be left alone at home. Here at Happy Paws she is not attached specially to one person and enjoys time with all the volunteers and with the other dogs. She needs a home where she can be a companion dog, someone she can learn to trust, someone she can be with most of the time. She is happy to share with another dog but is not suitable in a working household where she is left at home alone as before. She is such a loving affectionate soul who has had a hard start. She would also benefit if her owner is able to continue her training, take her for interesting walks and given her things to do.
